Make a post (public, friendslocked, filtered...whatever you're comfortable with) to your LJ. The post should contain your list of 10 holiday wishes. So for some unknown reason, I felt the need to post random pictures that have been taken in the past couple of days. Mostly because I love my friends, partly because I'll miss them desperately in the fall. Also because everyone gets to point and laugh at how unattractive I am. Dial-up users, beware. Huge picture post.

I'm glad this picture is so posed it hurts. Sometimes I fix my hair and giggle. Actually, it's really not posed at all.

Do you know what's great about this picture? That it was taken in Steak 'N' Shake. I very seriously think that this is the most attractive picture of me ever taken. Here's the cover of my upcoming LP, guys.

So this one time, I went to visit Jess and Nicole in Virginia. So we talked about Sean McCourt. Alot.

Hey everyone! Sorry it's been so long since I've written, but I just got back from an overextended trip to New York and Florida. It was so much fun, although I think I enjoyed New York much more than Florida. I'm going to put my summary of the trip behind the cut so I don't take too much space up on your friends page. Spoilers for Wicked ahead, so...

I left Wednesday morning, more excited than I have ever been to go to New York. I've never seen "Wicked" before, so I was so excited to see it. We got to New York at about 11:00 in the morning, only to arrive at our hotel, which was disgustingly small. Portland Square Hotel, I believe it was called. It was right around the corner from Times Square which was awesome. We did a little sight seeing, because I've only been to New York twice, and we were going to see "Wicked" that night at 8:00. While on our way to Planet Hollywood, I saw the Naked Cowboy standing out in Times Square, playing his guitar. He was cute.

Planet Hollywood was alright. I like Hard Rock Cafe much better. Our waiter was super cute, and I spilled my drink all over the floor like a four year old. My mother laughed at me.

So we went to Roxie's to get cheesecake, which was fantastic and HUGE. Afterwards, we started walking to the Gershwin. I took pictures of everything that even remotely resembled "Wicked". My mom laughed at me again, this time because I acted like such a tourist.

Then we got to the Gershwin and I pretty much had a heart attack.

I loved the lobby, how everything was themed with the show. I'd been to the lobby before, but not for an extended amount of time. I loved the "You are now leaving Oz" sign and the Clock of the Time Dragon.

So then we were seated in the eighth to last row, which was okay because everything was wonderful. We could see anything, and it was awesome. I took about a bajillion pictures of the stage. I got yelled at. I didn't care.

The show was absolutely incredible, to say the least. Shoshana's voice just blew me away. I have to write an entire review of it.

"No One Mourns the Wicked" - Megan Hilty was the most adorable thing ever. When she said, "Well, this has been FUN!", I cracked up. She hit those high notes perfectly at the beginning. I was blown away.

"Dear Old Shiz" - When Sho first walked out, I couldn't take my eyes off of her. She was incredible. There's nothing much to say about this song. Galinda coming out with all of the suitcases was funny, as was, "Something's wrong. I didn't get my way."

"The Wizard and I" - Incredible. Absolutely blown away. Can't say anything other than that. When she got to the whole, "And I'll stand there with the Wizard...", my stomach just clenched because it made me so damn happy. I didn't want it to be over.

"What Is This Feeling?" - "Dearest darlingest momsie and popsicle..." Laughed my ass off. Megan and Sho sounded great together.

"Something Bad" - Eh, this is my least favorite song. I don't have anything to say about it.

"Dancing Through Life" - Alright, David Ayers? My boyfriend. He's not the greatest singer in the world, but he is SO CUTE. I cried a little when Elphie came to the Ozdust and did that dance alone and then Galinda joined her. It was sweet.

"Popular" - Easily my favorite Galinda part of the entire show. Megan was so funny. When they did, "Toss, toss,", Megan kept moving her head back and forth faster and faster. She was like, "Faster. Now faster. Now shake it, shake it!" And they were just whipping their heads back and forth and like warp speed. It was so funny. And then Sho used it later before they went to the Emerald City. And everyone laughed hysterically. Also, Megan's delivery of the line, "Don't make me laugh! They were popular, PLEASE!" was hilarious. She said, "Don't make me laugh," in this sweet voice, and then "Please, THEY WERE POPULAR. PLEASE." In this mean, angry voice, and like jabbed Sho with her finger. It was so funny. She was just hilarious.

"I'm Not That Girl" - Pretty song. Kinda boring though. I really felt for Elphie though because Sho made her so believable.

"One Short Day" - Cute. I liked it. Loved all the green. Nothing really special about it. Was terrified of the big guys that come out during Wiz-O-Mania.

"A Sentimental Man" - Let me just say that I loved Ben Vereen. I just thought he played the Wizard so well. This song was great. Not one of my favorites, but it was great.

"Defying Gravity" - My favorite part of the entire show. I just cried the whole way through it. And Sho's belting was awesome. When she flew, I just was amazed. Her "kiss me goodbye" was the best I've heard.

"NOMTW Reprise and Thank Goodness" - Megan got so much stronger during the second act. She was cute, and funny, and loveable.

"The Wicked Witch of the East" - One of my favorites. I cried when Michelle sang "Save him, please, just save him..." and when Elphie tells her at the end, "I have done everything I could for you and it hasn't been enough. Nothing ever will be." I felt bad for Nessa kinda, even though she's just a needy little bitch-lol.

"Wonderful" - I loved this. I loved Sho and Ben dancing. I loved the song. Weird, I know.

"I'm Not That Girl Reprise" - Kinda felt bad for Glinda, even though doesn't deserve Fiyero.

"As Long As You're Mine" - Where I really fell in love with David. They sounded amazing together. And the way he kissed her, I just couldn't get over that. They have real chemistry on stage. And the way they held each other. Wow. All of those lines during that scene just made me cry. "It's not lying, it's just looking at things another way." It made me want to find love like that. Wow. I loved it.

"No Good Deed" - Really the highlight of the second act. Sho worked the stage, and that's hard to do without having a backdrop or anything. I was completely enthralled.

"March of the Witch Hunters" - Interesting.

"For Good" - Bawled my eyes out. Megan and Sho made it so believable. And just to think that Elphie would be dying...wow. Megan was cracking at the beginning like she was crying, and I just was so upset that the show was almost over that it made me cry. I'm crying now thinking about it. LOL

"Finale" - Sad that it was over. When she left with Fiyero, I couldn't stop crying. "We can never come back to Oz, can we?" Oh my god. You can come back to Oz anytime you'd like, Sho. And so can you, David. Standing ovations for all.

It really was an incredible show. I would go see it every chance I had if I lived in New York. Afterwards, I hit up the stage door, hoping to see David and make him fall in love with me so we could have beautiful babies. Fortunately, he came out first. I took some picture because I didn't think he was going to come the whole way down to the end of the stage door line.

Eventually, he did come down to my end. All of these little kids were standing around me (haha, yes, they were all like ten years old, and here I am, the eighteen year old.) So anyways, all these little kids are yelling, "Mr. Ayers! Mr. Ayers!" And I said, "David." Just once. And he turned around and said, "Hey!" So I asked him if I could get a picture with him. Unfortunately, he closed his eyes.

Megan Hilty came out next. She is so sweet. I asked her for a picture, and she said, "Sure, sweetheart!" And leaned over the fence to put her arm around me. She put her face really close to mine, and she was just a darling. My mom took the picture, and started dropping the camera, so the first picture was messed up, and Megan goes, "Oops!" And did this adorable giggle, and I was like, "Good job, mom," and Megan goes, "No no no! Take another one! Yeah!" So we did, and she posed for that one too. She was such a sweetheart!!

And then, out came Shoshana. My idol. Unfortunately, she wasn't so nice to me. LOL. But that's okay. At least she took a picture with me. I said, "Shoshana, you have the most incredible voice I have ever heard." And she just continued chomping on her gum and said, "Thanks," in this really snooty voice. Oh well. She's still really talented and I still idolize her.

Anyway, we did more sight seeing on Thursday and went to see "Beauty and the Beast" which was awful. I love the show. Costumes were gorgeous. People in the show? Not so great. Plus, I saw a picture of Robert Goulet and couldn't stop saying, "Natureeee, Goulet."

Friday, we went to Madame Tussaud's Wax Museum, and we went to see Avenue Q. Barret Foa is HOT. I want to make love to him. Stephanie D'Abruzzo was great too. It was such a wonderful show. It was HILARIOUS.

Saturday, we went to see "Rent", the matinee. It was awesome. We were in the second row for it. That night, I went back to the stage door because it was my last night in New York and I wanted to get everyone's autographs from "Wicked". I was there about a half an hour before the show ended. After the show let out, guy came out and said, "I hate to break it to you guys, but the only person in the building is Megan." So I was kinda disappointed. But then he came back out and said, "Oh, and David! I'm sorry!" So I was less disappointed. I got their autographs and more pictures, but was disappointed that Sho wasn't there. David said to me, "I remember you from the other night!" I orgasmed. And Megan Hilty was sweet again. I told her I had seen her the other night and she was like, "Oh! How was it?"
